More sources are: Orange juice, papaya: 93.9 mg, grapefruit juice, strawberries, boiled broccoli, raspberries, tomato, mango, boiled beet and boiled cabbage.

The normal intake of Vitamin C in women is 75 mg daily with an increase by 10 mg for the pregnant women. The lactating women should take 95 – 100 mg. The usefulness of maintaining proper vitamin c level for a pregnant woman is a decreased risk for cancer, hypertension infections and stroke and diabetes.
