The teeth are important features in a face as they contribute in keeping the face good looking and give it a smiling appearance. Their use mainly lies in chewing food and proper speaking. As such, it is essential that one must take care to maintain healthy teeth.

For maintaining healthy teeth and to avoid Tooth Ache one must take milk and other nutritious food. One must also develop regular habits to keep the teeth clean. Not only the teeth have to be looked after, but the gums and bones giving support to the teeth have also to be taken care of.

Sensitivity of the teeth, cavity formations, damage to enamel, excessive eating of sweets, improper cleaning and use of excessive hot and cold food stuffs etc, cause problems like Tooth Ache and diseases.

The best medicine for healthy upkeep of the teeth is use of the ancient prescription i.e. cleaning the teeth with ‘neem sticks’. This has to be regularly practiced at least, once a day. In fact neem stick is the mother of all devices meant for such purposes. All that beside it is cheap. The general thinking that only cleaning Teeth in the morning is sufficient. It is better to clean the teeth in a proper manner after supper or just before going to bed.

Sensitivity should not be neglected whenever necessary desensiting tooth paste should be used. Immediate attention should be given to filling. It has also to be borne in mind that gum problems are frequent when compared to the problems of teeth. Gums should not remain uncared if they bleed. Massaging gums with finger not only keeps gums healthy but it also contributes in keeping the teeth in order.

The present day methods of providing artificial teeth are gradually getting outdated and implanting of teeth is becoming popular. Implantation doesn’t require removal for cleaning and resting, as is the case with dentures.

In response to questions the doctor stated that even 3 to 4 minutes of brushing the teeth is sufficient if it is done in a proper manner. Any one of the methods like neem or brushing can be adopted for Tooth Ache. Pus formation in gums should not be neglected. In primitive man, the number of teeth was 40 but it gradually got reduced and in the present day world there are cases of persons have only 28 teeth in number but is not in’ any way a handicap to be given much importance as it is natural.
