Squint Eyes or some times know as cross eyes
Normally both eyes are in alignment enabling eyes to move together normally in different directions. In children, sometimes at birth, or in early infancy, after an attack of flue or measles, this balance is disturbed and the eyes may turn in towards the nose convergent squint, so they may turn away from the nose
divergent squint.
Most of these
Squint Eyes improve with medicine, glasses or exercises. If there is no total relief then operation is done to get eyes back to normal alignment. This should be done before the child is 5 years of age, ideally as soon as possible, if not done early sight does not develop normally and even after surgery, though the eyes appear straight,
eyesight might have problem. The sooner the condition is treated, the better.
