Foreign Bodies in Nose Throat & Ears
Foreign bodies in nose, throat and ears are very common problems specially affecting children and infants.
Most of these foreign bodies are not serious conditions, as alarming as people usually think of them, If the
foreign bodies do not came out at parental at general doctor level, no further attempt should be made and child should be taken to the ENT specialist.
A foreign body in throat could be in the phamyx or in the food pipe known as deslophagus or in the wind pipe known as larynx and trachea. Fish bone in the commonest foreign body in the phamyx.
Foerign bodies in nose throat and ear larynx and trachea could be dangerous and need immediate attention. This could be fatal it not removed in time.
Foreign bodies in the food pipe are not so dangerous and can be removed under anesthesia at ease.
